Leeds Stand Up to UKIP launch meeting

Leeds Stand Up To UKIP

After the Paris shootings, there is an Islamophobic backlash across Europe – and in Britain the ‘poundshop Enoch Powell’ Nigel Farage is hoping that UKIP can capitalise on this rising tide of racism against Muslims to win votes.  The urgency of anti-racist unity in the current climate cannot be overstated.

We are in the process of pulling together an official launch meeting for Leeds Stand Up to UKIP on Tuesday 17 February at 7pm in Leeds Civic Hall – details and publicity to follow – but a date for your diaries.  We have our usual organising meeting this Wednesday 21 January at 6.30pm, Leeds UNISON offices, Woodhouse Lane – all welcome.
